The second UK conference took place at Bath Spa University's beautiful research centre, Corsham Court, June 23-25th 2015. The conference was opened by the University's Deputy Vice Chancellor (Provost), Prof. Neil Sammells, himself an enthusiastic reader of crime fiction. We were delighted to welcome back so many delegates from 2014, as well as meet new delegates who were equally as passionate about us bringing together so many aspects and approaches to crime fiction for discussion and furthering and exchange of research.
Our fantastic keynotes, Prof. Mary Evans from the LSE, and crime writers Paul Johnston and Stav Sherez, gave wonderful, fascinating talks and were also part of our roundtable discussion about the influences of 'traditions and transgressions' in crime fiction today.
